Not sure why I keep doing these....
Im pretty sure I must enjoy the pain...
Not really, but I do very much enjoy the feeling I get afterwards knowing I DID THAT!
But this one was definitely the most difficult one I've done so far!
It was rough, it was cold, it was challenging and it was awesome!!
Especially awesome because I have such an amazing group of friends who are just as nuts as me.
And special thanks to Matt for walking the course in the cold,
carrying all our stuff, and taking all these pictures! :)

Me, Sam and Natalee
My bestest buds
I love these guys!! |
Our scared faces... Because yes, we were very scared! |
The first obstacle |
Looks easier than it was... just sayin' |
This SUCKED!! Its a giant garbage bin lined with plastic and filled with ice water and A LOT of ice! As soon as I jumped in, I quit breathing and couldn't catch my breath until after I got out. I have never felt pain like that! It was so intense and I cant believe I actually did it!! |
I couldn't believe there was a dead horse on the trail... Im hoping it was fake... |
Natalee contemplating her attack :) |
This obstacle was kinda rough. We had to crawl thru an underground tunnel, no light and very tight space. I didn't like it very much... Luckily the fella in front of me, some random stranger, let me grip his ankle the whole way :) |
We caught up to our team..Dirty Ninjas They started about 20 minuted before we did
because we were stuck in traffic and got there late... But we caught up
then ended up finishing before them. Im not sure how, but Im pretty proud of us :) |
We had nice weather to begin with. It was cold and windy but sunny... then we got this. I cant begin to describe how painfully cold the weather made this run! Our bodies were hurting, our hands were so frozen we could barely use them, and afterwards it took hours to get warm again. |
This one went down thru skinny pipes, into water, under barbed wire, then back in the pipes headed up hill.. not too bad |
This is the one we dreaded doing, and ended up not being able to due to the loss of feeling and mobility in almost all extremities, but the tough mudders who did do it, showed some seriously excellent team work! Loved that! |
Yes, hes being shocked! |
One of the shocks caused him to face plant... poor guy |
SO COLD!! And SO glad it was finally over! |
OH YEAH!! But sadly I didn't get to drink that one. But I did end up getting some gluten free beer to enjoy later... and I enjoyed it very much :)
WE DID IT!!!!! |
