About Me

My photo
As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You'll have your heart broken and you'll break others' hearts. You'll fight with your best friend or maybe even fall in love with them, and you'll cry because time is flying by. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you've never been hurt. Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. you just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you and tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone's hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late, be a flirt, and smile until your face hurts. Don't be afraid to take chances or fall in love and most of all, live in the moment because every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back. - Unknown

Oregon 2012

Another lovely trip to Oregon
to see my lovely family!
We had a lot of fun.
----------------------------
Harris Beach
This beach was too cold and windy to stay, we were pelted by sand and all our stuff blew all over the beach. But in the short time we were there the kids had fun.
The rocks next to where we were had all these really cool shells and snails stuck to them.
Logan was the bravest one, he ran in as soon as we got there!
Good thing I brought an extra shirt :)
Brady tried, but BRRRR

When the water got to be too cold, digging in the sand became much more fun :)
After we left Harris Beach, we stopped at another cute little beach called
Crissey Field Beach

Logan found a fort so he wanted to make some adjustments

Matt and Brady wasted no time.
Matt even got to see some seals

On the way out of the beach, the trail led to this cute
and creepy little hiking adventure area.

Then we stopped and admired the big trees in the Redwood Forest
Believe it or not, Brady is actually happy :)
My aunt Sheilas friend told us about this other cool place to go
the Illinois River
It was pretty awesome! The water wasn't that cold and it was so clear you could see all the way to the bottom!
We were told there are rattlesnakes there, but the only thing we saw was a tint little water snake.
We did see a cool frog and some tadpoles too.

Not sure why all these butterflies were congregating right here, but there were a ton, and they didn't seem to care how close I got to them
 Brady swimming :)

The fish didn't seem to care that we were there either. In fact, they seemed very curious about us. They nipped at our feet and slapped our legs with their fins. Pretty cool but all creeped me out a little :)
Me, Matt and Brady actually swam over to that rock and jumped off of it a few times. It was a little scary at first, but ended up being tons of fun :)
Catching some sun on the rocks :)

 My beautiful family.
Cousin Adrienne, Aunt Sheila, and my Gramps and GG.
 LOVE MY GRAMPS!!
On our way home we passed the Klamath River. Had to stop and gaze :)
The rest of the way home was filled with nothing.
Every now and then we'd see a little farm here and there, but mostly... nothing

But even nothing is nice to look at ;)

I hate driving on this road!! So scary!
 A lone wild horse :)
 Seems safe right?
