About Me

My photo
As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You'll have your heart broken and you'll break others' hearts. You'll fight with your best friend or maybe even fall in love with them, and you'll cry because time is flying by. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you've never been hurt. Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. you just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you and tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone's hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late, be a flirt, and smile until your face hurts. Don't be afraid to take chances or fall in love and most of all, live in the moment because every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back. - Unknown

Part 2 of Logans Birthday Fun

Hill Aerospace Museum

Logans 10!
For Logans birthday I decided that I dont want to throw a huge party with a bunch of people like we did last year. Instead, I thought it would be nice for the four of us to do something fun as a family. Just us.
I know how much he likes planes and trains, so I though he would like to visit the Hill Aerospace Museum.
At first he said he would find it boring, but once we got there, he was so excited :)

Mothers Day

For Mothers Day the boys took me for a BBQ picnic up the Canyon.
We were there for hours, what a beautiful day it was!

Salt Lake Half Marathon

Sam, me and Natalee (before the run)
I am in total shock that I even finished this thing!!
I had been sick for quite some time before it and had barely ran at all for 5 weeks.
But I did it and I did it in pretty good time (2:15)
Around the 10 mile mark my knee started screaming at me, begging me to stop, but if I did, I never would have started back up again....
So I kept going, after I turned the final corner, with the finish line in sight, I pushed it as hard as I could, and my knee finally just had it with me.
When it felt as though it exploded, I let out some pretty unpleasant words, and nearly cried, but finished!!
Here we are after the run, looking like it was easier than it was
haha

Wheeler Farm

My way of getting the kids out of the house and off the computer :)
It actually worked.
They fought me on it of course but ended up having a good day :)

Moab Half Marathon

On March 17th, St. Patricks Day, my buddy Natalee and I ran the Moab Half Marathon.
While we were running in the high winds, getting sandblasted, Matt and the boys decided to go for a hike
Brady took my camera with him and these are some of the pictures he took... 'Quite the photographer isnt he :)

Natalee and I at lunch after the race. We kicked butt by the way :)
