About Me

My photo
As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You'll have your heart broken and you'll break others' hearts. You'll fight with your best friend or maybe even fall in love with them, and you'll cry because time is flying by. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you've never been hurt. Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. you just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you and tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone's hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late, be a flirt, and smile until your face hurts. Don't be afraid to take chances or fall in love and most of all, live in the moment because every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back. - Unknown

My Running

I started running in September of 2010.
I HATED IT!!
Not to say that I love it now, I still dread having to do it,
but after a run I always feel so great.
My first race was a 5K. I was freaking out because that's 3 whole miles!
How can I finish a 3.2 mile race.
HAHA!
My first 10K was pretty scary too, I didn't think I could do all 6.4 miles, but I did, and it wasnt near as bad as I thought.
I swore I'd never do a half Marathon! My best bud Sam talked me into it tho.
I did the Mapleton Moonlight Half for my first. It was no where near as bad as I thought.
Ive got a few Halfs under my belt now, some obstacle course and mud runs and even a trail run, which I have to say was the hardest one yet.

It was her first Half too
  Moab Trail Run
GRUELING!!!
Mostly because it was pouring rain and super cold.
Moab sand turns to snot or quick sand when its wet, so my poor ankles took a beating for the first 5 miles. But the rivers we ran thru were SO icy cold, the swelling and pain were numbed away.

Dash After Dark
A 5 mile night time run Sam talked me into

The next morning we did a 10K with Natalee

 Moab Half Marathon
We didn't have any pictures for this one.
sorry
But this is one of the pics Brady took on the hike he went on during our run :)
 Salt Lake Half Marathon

 More to come!!

Next month we are doing the Spartan Race

In August we're doing the Kiss Me Dirty Run

In September we're doing the Dirty Dash again

In October we're doing the Tough Mudder

Also, to top off my year and scratch something off my Bucket List...
I will be going to Hawaii to do my first full marathon!
EEK!!!

Check out the links for an idea of what I am up against.
Guess its time to stop blogging, and get training!
