A very close friend of Matts and mine was in a pretty bad motorcycle accident on August 19th. He was traveling around 50 mph and for the first time in his riding life DIDNT HAVE HIS HELMET ON! Some girl made an illegal turn and he slammed full force into her. I wont get into too much detail about the extent of his injuries, but needless to say he almost didnt make it.
But miraculously, he did survive and is doing fantastic! He has minimal remaining injuries or side effect from his injuries, and the ones he is still suffering from will heal in time....
Johnny is an amazing person, and if you know him, you love him! No way around it.
Unfortunately the woman who hit him did not have insurance, so his medical bills will be outrageous! So some friends put a Luau together to raise money for Johnny, and these are some photos from that. There were SO MANY people there (Guesstimated over 350 people), and I have over 200 pictures so I obviously couldnt post them all on here....But these are a few of my favorites :)
